WADESBORO, N.C. — The funeral for an Anson County teen shot and killed last weekend will be held Saturday.
Shaundasia Smith, 16, was killed during a sleepover at a home in Wadesboro.
Smith was the granddaughter of Anson County Sheriff Landric Reid.
A visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. followed by her funeral at 2 p.m.
Friday night, the community held a vigil to remember her as they demanded answers for her death.
Police arrested Roger Rorie, Jr., in the case. He is currently being held in the Anson County Jail.
He's charged with felony involuntary manslaughter and obstruction of justice.
