RALEIGH, N.C. — A flight from New York to Orlando was forced to make an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport after a passenger became violent, WTVD reported.

Officials said it happened Wednesday night on a Frontier Airlines flight after the passenger complained about a woman in a seat behind him. The man became more agitated and also threatened other passengers, according to WTVD.

In a video, other passengers could be seen having to hold him down until they got on the ground.

Raleigh police were waiting for the flight to land and took the man into custody. Officials have not said if he will face any charges.

After the detour, the other passengers were able to safely get to Orlando overnight.

No other details have been released at this point.
