MATTHEWS, N.C. — Fresh Chef Kitchen is headed to Matthews.
That roughly 3,800-square-foot restaurant is on track to open the week of Sept. 24, says Mel Funk, co-owner.
It will be located at 15080 Idlewild Road.

“We think Matthews is a good opportunity,” Funk says.
Fresh Chef Kitchen delivers high-quality, fresh food — at everyday prices.
“Fresh food is where it’s at. I believe people are tired of paying the prices they pay for frozen prepared food that honestly tastes like cardboard,” Funk says.
