FORT MILL, S.C. — The 14th annual South Carolina Strawberry Festival will be returning to Fort Mill in May, but festivities kick off in April.
The first of many events will be the Little Miss Strawberry Pageant held at Catawba Ridge High School on April 14, starting at 7 p.m. The Teen Miss Strawberry pageant will be held at the school the following night at 7 p.m.
The week of April 29 to May 2 is jam-packed with activities everyone can enjoy, like the Strawberry Sprint, Stroll, and Jam Race, which will be held at 10 a.m. on April 29 on Main Street. If you’re looking to be a tourist, the Fort Mill History Museum will be hosting the Strawberry Scavenger Hunt downtown from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The pre-festival activities wrap up with a Strawberry Festival Brunch on Sunday, April 30, and the Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament on Tuesday, May 2.
The main event is set to take place at Walter Elisha Park on May 6 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The festival features live music, rides, food vendors, eating contests, a car show, and of course, plenty of strawberries.
