FORT MILL, S.C. — A Fort Mill man is devastated after someone shot and killed his service dog outside of his home.
Justin Balducci said that Willie Mae was his life and helped him through depression and other health issues.
He said she got out Friday night and was found shot to death on Red Fox Trail.
Balducci said that whoever killed Willie Mae doesn't understand how much it has upset his entire family.
“People are sick, and people are out there doing what they see in their eyes as nothing at all," Balducci said.
Balducci said his neighbors are concerned and worried about their own pets now.
There are no suspects in the case.
