FORT MILL, S.C. — A Fort Mill birthing center has decided to close its door.
In a Facebook post to its members, Carolina Community Maternity Center talked about its decision to close but didn't give an exact reason why.
Last month, a child died at the maternity center.
In 2013, the state shut the center down because of another infant death.
The center reopened after making state-mandated changes.
