Former WSOC-TV anchor Blair Miller sits down with Trump

NEW YORK CITY — Presidential candidate Donald Trump admits he does regret some of the things he's said on the campaign trail, but is happy with how he's doing.

Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview with former Eyewitness News anchor Blair Miller.

Trump said he's not worried about the potential division his comments are causing within the Republican Party.

He said he's pleased with poll numbers despite criticism that he's hateful and un-American, but admits he could have done things differently.

"There's always regrets, but it doesn't help talking about them. What's done is done," Trump said.

Trump went on to say he's looking forward to the first primary in New Hampshire in less than two months.

Miller, who is now anchor at WSOC-TV's sister station in Boston Fox 25 WFXT, interviewed Trump a couple times while working at Channel 9 in Charlotte.
