CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The case against former UNC Charlotte quarterback Kevin Olsen is growing.
The assistant district attorney announced in court Wednesday afternoon that another woman has come forward with domestic abuse claims against Olsen.
Olsen is charged with raping a woman at an off-campus apartment last February. He pleaded not guilty in September.
The hearing was held because Olsen and his attorneys had requested a change in his bond, which would have included him being able to take off his ankle monitor. Prosecutors argued against allowing Olsen to take off his monitor.
A judge denied the bond change request.
After the hearing, Channel 9's cameras were rolling as Olsen stormed out of court and forcefully pushed open the courtroom doors.
Olsen's case is expected to go to trial after he rejected a plea deal from prosecutors.
Prosecutors said Olsen texted his accuser and threatened to kill her, then raped her, punched her and threatened to kill himself.
