ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said it has charged a former teacher with three counts of indecent liberties with a student by a school guardian.
Officials said they began investigating Jason T. Dellinger, 30, in July.
Dellinger used to teach at J.C. Carson High School in China Grove.
Officials said the investigation revealed he was involved in inappropriate conversations and emails with students.
Dellinger was arrested and given a $25,000 bond. He has since been released from jail.
