LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A former Carolinas Medical Center - Lincoln nurse was arrested Wednesday and accused of stealing prescription drugs from the hospital.
Jessica Brooks was charged with 19 felony counts of embezzlement of a controlled substance.
Jonathan James was also arrested.
The investigation started last month when the hospital reported missing vials of a powerful painkiller.
