KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — A former church employee in Kannapolis pleaded guilty to indecent liberties with a child.
A judge sentenced Benjamin Hollifield to 15 to 23 years in prison.
Authorities arrested him in May 2015 and charged him with 10 counts of statutory rape and four counts of taking indecent liberties with children.
The senior pastor at Piedmont Baptist Church reported the abuse.
