INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — Indian Trail police said they have linked a Monroe man to several break-ins using fingerprints, blood and shoe impressions left at the scene.
Police said Jeffrey Bird broke into four businesses Monday.
Authorities tracked him down Friday using evidence at the scene.
He was hiding inside his closet, police said.
