Five people arrested, accused in Stanly Co. break-ins

STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — Five people are in jail Wednesday, accused of stealing $30,000 in items during a string of break-ins in Stanly County.

Deputies arrested Jeremy Dion Davis, 21, Brianna Brooke Talbert, 19, Donna Michelle Davis, 43, Anissa Jeanise Smith, 18, and James Robert Butler, 66. Police said the five, along with another man, broke into several homes.

They're accused of stealing power tools, car parts, welders and household items.

Deputies are still looking for Sylvester Maske and they said they expect more arrests.
