Columbia, South Carolina-based Edens is in the midst of a $100 million revamp of that site. It teamed up with Charlotte's Crescent Communities on the project to bring 346 apartments and 60,500 square feet of new retail — giving it more than 110,000 square feet of retail in total at the property.
Atherton Mill has secured a temporary certificate of occupancy, allowing retail shops to begin opening, says Claire Wei, senior communications manager at Edens.
