STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — Fellow first responders honored a Stanly County paramedic and volunteer firefighter Thursday with a procession.
Lt. William Oxendine was driving to work Tuesday when he crashed on Highway 52 in Norwood.
Chopper 9 flew overhead as first responders brought his body from Charlotte to a funeral home in Albemarle.
