CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The redevelopment of a 1970s-era apartment site in SouthPark into a dense, mixed-use project inches closer with construction permits filed and renderings updated.
The Colony redevelopment, a significant overhaul of a 27-acre site at Colony and Sharon roads, has been envisioned by Charlotte-based Synco Properties and its partner, Schlosser Development Corp. out of Austin, Texas, for more than a decade — but it’s now, finally, becoming a reality.
