CORNELIUS, N.C. — Firefighters worked to put out raging flames after a boat caught fire at a marina on Lake Norman Saturday morning.
Officials said the fire happened at the fuel dock of the Kings Point Marina.

Channel 9 was at the scene as crews pulled what was left of the boat out of the water.
No one was seriously hurt in the fire, officials said.
“It is very important to listen to marina staff and follow all safety precautions while fueling,” Cornelius-Lemley Fire Department posted on Facebook.
