CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters are investigating a large 2-alarm fire that ripped through a vacant north Charlotte fast food restaurant early Sunday morning.
The fire started around 2:30 a.m. at the old Jack in the Box off Sunset Road, near Interstate 77.

Charlotte Fire said 46 firefighters worked more than an hour to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported, but the fire caused around $30,000 in damages.
Officials said they are unable to determine the cause of the fire at this time, but the fire remains under investigation.
