CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department responded to a house fire in the Belmont neighborhood Thursday evening.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the home on East 17th Street just before 6 p.m.
Firefighters said smoke was showing when they arrived at the single-story house.
Officials said 23 firefighters got the flames under control in 15 minutes.
No one was hurt, but two adults and two dogs were displaced. The Red Cross is helping them.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
