CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters were called to a house fire Thursday morning in east Charlotte.
Chopper 9 flew over the house on Hanna Court near North Sharon Amity Road, where firefighters could be seen firefighters climbing on the roof to battle the flames.
The Charlotte Fire Department said it took 27 firefighters to get the fire under control in 20 minutes.
They were able to rescue a dog named Zeus from the home. Paramedics helped firefighters with resuscitation of Zeus.
"He is with his owners and wagging his tail," Medic posted on its Facebook page.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation..
