CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Fire Department battled a fire at an apartment complex in east Charlotte Friday morning.
It began just before 5:45 a.m. on Yateswood Drive near Albemarle Road.
Firefighters said it took 34 minutes to get the fire under control.

No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
