CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire Tuesday afternoon at an east Charlotte strip mall.
The Charlotte Fire Department was called to the business at the corner of Albemarle and Lawyers roads.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene and saw smoke pouring out of the roof of the Bargain Hunters Thrift Store located at the strip mall.
CFD said it took 48 firefighters and nearly 30 minutes to get the fire under control. No one was hurt.
Firefighters are investigating what started the fire.
