DENVER, N.C. — A fire in Denver burned through a home on Thursday night.
The Denver Fire Department received help from East Lincoln Fire Department, Ore-Bank Pumpkin Center VFD, Sherrills Ford - Terrell Fire & Rescue, Lincoln County EMS, and the Lincoln County Fire Marshals office to extinguish the fire on the 6000 block of Sherwood Lane.
Officials say the home was heavily involved in the fire when firefighters first arrived.
The family of five was not home when the fire erupted, but they have been displaced.

No one was injured in the fire.
The Lincoln County Fire Marshals Office is investigating the fire.
