PINEVILLE, N.C. — A firefighter suffered minor injuries at an apartment fire Friday night in Pineville.

At about 9 p.m., the fire was reported in the 12900 block of Meadow Creek Lane at the Pineville Place apartments off South Polk Street.
Paramedics said one person was taken, non-emergency, to Atrium Health Pineville.
Officials said 12 units were affected by the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
