The farmer’s market is on Highway 601, which is shut down in both directions.
The owner of the business told reporter Ken Lemon that someone else started the burn pile fire. The warehouse is about 20,000 square feet with two offices inside.
The graphic design business inside the warehouse was destroyed, according to officials.
The estimated loss was more than $200,000.
The fire department said the warehouse was full of pallets and cardboard. Four or five trailers used for storage also burned. One of the trailers was full of tires, officials said.
The business was not insured.
