CHARLOTTE — A major announcement for the Historic West End includes millions of dollars being invested in hopes to revitalize the community.
Fifth Third Bank is investing in the community and partnering with Local Initiatives Support Corp. in Charlotte to make sure the money goes to the people who live there.

LISC Charlotte plans to work with three grassroots organizations— West Side Community Land Trust, Historic West End Partners and For The Struggle— to determine how the investment can best be used.
