CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 25-year-old woman delivering an order of pizza was robbed at gunpoint by a group of teenagers Tuesday in northwest Charlotte, CMPD said.
The driver was delivering pizza from the Papa Johns on Freedom Drive to a vacant home on Raspberry Knoll Drive. The victim got to the vacant home and was held up at gunpoint.
A witness saw the juveniles beforehand, thought they were acting suspicious and called the police.

Three of the four involved with the crime were charged in connection with the armed robbery.
"Even though I've been here for a while,” a nearby resident said. “I still don’t feel safe when you have little kids, and then this happened in broad daylight. It's probably going to get worse that kids don't have nothing to do. They're going to to try to find something to occupy their time so this is a big concern."
The resident said no one lives at the home where the pizza was being delivered.
"It's been vacant for a while now," the resident said. "I thimk whoever was responsible knew that."
The victim was not injured, but she did quit after the crime.
The teens’ names were not released because of their age.
“The quick thinking of the witness, in both determining what was going on and immediately calling 911, was crucial in solving this case and apprehending the suspects,” CMPD said in a news release.
