CHARLOTTE — A fatal crash involving a pedestrian was reported Thursday night in the SouthPark community.
Crash investigations were called to Fairview Road and Barclay Downs Drive, which is near SouthPark Mall, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
Gregory Allen Wall, 47, has been identified as the victim.
Police said Wall stepped into the path of the Chevrolet pickup. Wall was struck by the truck and thrown several feet forward.
