CONCORD, N.C. — UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway will now start at 3 p.m. on Monday. Spectator gates and souvenir haulers will open at 9 a.m. in advance of the Alsco Uniforms 300, now rescheduled from Saturday to 11 a.m. Monday. Read more here.
Before the green flag waves for the 64th running of the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, race fans can check out these high-octane happenings, both on and off the track.
Speed Street
The long-running Circle K Speed Street has moved from Uptown to the speedway. This year’s lineup includes Dirty Deeds The AC/DC Experience on Friday, and Tim Dugger and Jake Owen on Saturday.

The event will also include a 10-acre fan zone where there will be driver appearances by some of NASCAR’s biggest names, interactive games and displays, food trucks, souvenir haulers and other activities.
The festival opens at 3 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Circle K Speed Street will be open each day to fans with a ticket to any of the weekend’s three NASCAR events May 26-28.
The Races
Friday
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series kick off the weekend on Friday.
The ARCA Menards Series will have practice and qualifying beginning at 11:40 a.m., and the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 starts at 6 p.m.
Practice for the truck series begins at 1:30 p.m. and qualifying is at 2 p.m.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 250 begins at 8:30 p.m.
Ticket prices start at $30. Children age 12 and younger get in free.
Saturday
The NASCAR Xfinity Series regulars will take on NASCAR Cup Series superstars in the Alsco Uniforms 300 on Saturday at 12 p.m. (The original 1 p.m. start time was moved up due to the forecasted bad weather.)
Following the Xfinity race, practice for the Coca-Cola 600 will take place at 7 p.m. and qualifying will begin at 7:45 p.m.
Ticket prices for Saturday start at $32. Children age 12 and younger get in free.

Sunday
The 64th running of the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 is set for Sunday.
Grammy Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Doobie Brothers will perform a 60-minute pre-race concert on pit road before the race at 3:30 p.m.
In addition, there will be a patriotic tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces that will feature the 82nd Airborne Band and U.S. Army Black Hawks.
Driver introductions begin at 5:30 p.m. and Danny McBride, creator of HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones,” will drive the pace car to lead the field to green at 6 p.m.
Reserved grandstand seats for the Coca-Cola 600 are sold out. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets are available for $50. Infield camping and Camping World Racing Resort are also sold out.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. On race days, select gates will be open for ticket sales as well.
All tickets and parking passes will be mobile and delivered digitally.
Concessions are cashless, and all major credit and debit cards are accepted.
A maximum of two bags per person is permitted. Bags or backpacks should be no larger than 18x18x14 inches.
Fans may also bring one soft-sided cooler no larger than 14x14x14 inches.

Fan Fests and other events
In addition to the action happening at Charlotte Motor Speedway, several teams, including Hendrick Motorsports, JR Motorsports and Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing will be hosting fan events.
JR Motorsports, at 349 Cayuga Drive in Mooresville, will host fans on Thursday beginning at 9 a.m.
RFK Racing, at 4600 Roush Place in Concord, will host fans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Hendrick Motorsports, at 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd., will host fans from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Old Armor Beer Company and US Legends Cars have teamed up with Kerry Earnhardt to host the Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown in Kannapolis on Thursday. Earnhardt will serve as the Grand Marshal and drivers scheduled to participate in the street race include Kevin Harvick, Austin Hill, and Stefan Parsons. Admission is free.
The inaugural Michael Waltrip Brewing Craft Beer & Country Music & Festival will take place at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis on Thursday. Performers include Jerrod Niemann and Love and Theft. The event is open to adults ages 21 and older. Tickets cost $20-$30. Click here to purchase tickets.
