CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Friends and family are trying to raise money to bury a man hit and killed in a crash in south Charlotte Monday night.
Antonio Thorpe had stopped on Interstate 77 at Westinghouse Boulevard to check on the victims of an SUV-minivan crash.
A tractor-trailer hit and killed Thorpe, police said.
