YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Officials told Channel 9 that a teenage girl reported missing in York County has been found dead.
The family of Jamie Lee Magras was offering a $10,000 reward in hopes of finding the 18-year-old.
Just before 1 p.m. Monday, officials said deputies found Magras dead in a wooded area near a creek off Mount Gallant Road.
The girl was last seen early Friday near Twin Lakes and Mount Gallant roads.
Channel 9's partners at The Herald report that Magras left a note Friday morning saying she was going out and would be back in five hours.
She never came home.
The York County Sheriff's Office said no foul play is suspected in Magras' death. Investigators called her death an unfortunate incident.
