CHARLOTTE — Some psychologists are afraid isolating yourself during a stay-at-home order could weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to disease.
Dr. Ryan Shelton with Tryon Medical Partners warns flattening the curve could be more difficult if people let their guards down as restrictions loosen.

“It would really be more about people being more relaxed in their precautions that we forget to wash our hands, that we forget to wear the mask at the grocery store, that we forget to wash when we come back home or when we get a delivery,” Shelton said. “I just think we still have to be pretty vigilant about what are really pretty simple things.”
