CHARLOTTE — An Italian manufacturer of electric-vehicle chargers chose Charlotte for its U.S. headquarters this spring. Now, local incentives for the project are up for approval.
At its meeting Wednesday, the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to consider a business investment program grant for Alpitronic Americas LLC.
The company announced its plans in May to invest nearly $18.4 million and create 300 jobs at an approximately 70,000-square-foot facility at 5815 Westpark Drive.

County documents show the board will consider a three-year grant with an estimated value of up to $145,265.
