CHARLOTTE — ESPN’s College GameDay is coming back to the Queen City.
The popular college football pregame show will be in town to preview the Duke’s Mayo Classic on Sept. 2 between the University of North Carolina and the University of South Carolina.
College GameDay will be hosted at Romare Bearden Park in Uptown. It will be their third-ever visit to Charlotte; for their last visit, which was back in 2021, the show previewed the Duke’s Mayo Classic matchup between Georgia and Clemson.
The Gamecocks and Tar Heels will play in nearby Bank of America Stadium.
Last year, the show had its most-viewed college football regular season, averaging 2.1 million viewers.
College GameDay starts at 9 a.m. on Sept. 2. Afterward, the game begins at 7:30 p.m. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
