ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ coming to Charlotte for Clemson, Georgia matchup

CHARLOTTE — ESPN’s 12-time Emmy Award winning show will kick off the 2021 college football season by showcasing two early-season games, including the Duke’s Mayo Classic matchup of Georgia vs. Clemson on Sept. 4 in Charlotte.

“College GameDay Built by The Home Depot” will start off at Romare Bearden Park in uptown, just a few steps from Bank of America Stadium where the Bulldogs will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on “ABC Saturday Night Football.”

Channel 9 will broadcast the game.
