LSU’s passing game coordinator Joe Brady plans to return to the NFL and join the Carolina Panthers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
LSU’s offense stood out Monday night during the College Football National Championship, in which Brady was a key architect.

LSU closed out a 15-0 season with a 42-25 win against Clemson in New Orleans.
Brady helped turn LSU quarterback Joe Burrow into a likely No. 1 overall pick for the NFL draft.
The coach was an offensive assistant in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints for two years before he joined LSU.
Panthers owner David Tepper said he is seeking out a young, bright offensive coach, in which he might have found in 30-year-old Brady.
