CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — The Chester County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested an escaped inmate who led authorities on a lengthy chase from Georgia.

Investigators said Kenneth Arnold was in a stolen car when officials deployed stop sticks on Interstate 77 to stop him Monday night.
Officials said Arnold drove across the interstate’s median and ran into the woods before he was caught.
Investigators said Arnold escaped from Villa Rica, Georgia and was pursued by troopers.
No other details have been released.
