CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged a Dollar General employee who they said embezzled thousands of dollars from the store.
Authorities said Elhadj Ly, 18, worked at the store on Oakdale Road in northwest Charlotte.

Officials said between September and mid-October, he embezzled more than $100,000 from the store.
Police arrested and charged Ly Friday.
