CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-based JJ’s Red Hots has permanently closed its uptown location.
That 1,550-square-foot restaurant was located in the 400 South Tryon building, at the corner of South Church Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

“There’s nobody uptown anymore because of Covid,” said a manager at the JJ’s Red Hots location in Dilworth. That location remains open for takeout only.
