CHARLOTTE — The last remaining Earth Fare specialty grocery store is closing, according to reports from the Charlotte Observer.
The Ballantyne location will be shutting its doors by the end of the month.
Earth Fare filed for bankruptcy in 2020. It was then bought out, and some of its stores were reopened.
However, the Observer says the Ballantyne location has not been able to overcome the nearby competition.
