CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Starting Wednesday, you will be able to cast your ballot for the November midterm elections.
The deadline for voter registration is over, but you can still vote at early voting locations as long as you register at the polling place the same day that you cast your ballot.

All voters need to register is a driver's license or another government issued ID and the last four digits of your social security number.
Officials are unsure how voter turnout will be as it is not a presidential election year.

Some of the items on the ballot are the race for Mecklenburg County commissioner seats, along with several amendments to the North Carolina Constitution.

The other big local issue are all the bonds that will be on the ballot.
Voters will be asked if they want to approve $118 million in transportation bonds, $55 million in neighborhood improvement bonds, and $50 million in affordable housing bonds.

There are 19 early voting sites scattered around Mecklenburg County.
Early voting locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. through Nov. 3.
