CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man died at the hospital after an early morning shooting Thursday in north Charlotte.
Officers were called around 4 a.m. to the shooting on Druid Circle, just off Statesville Avenue north of uptown, and found a man in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics said Danneul Lorenzo McLean, 29, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Details surrounding the shooting have not been released and police have not said if any arrests have been made.
