IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — On Monday, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division concluded a three-month undercover drug operation with the arrests of Armando Alonso and Juan Presa of Yadkinville, N.C.
Narcotics detectives received information about several Hispanic males selling large amounts of cocaine from the Yadkin County to Iredell County. Through numerous hours of surveillance from multiple enforcement agencies in Yadkinville and Statesville, undercover officers from Iredell County began making undercover transactions with the suspects.
Narcotics detectives purchased over 136.4 grams of cocaine from the suspects. The street value of the cocaine purchased is in excess of $35,000.00.
Alonso and Presa were arrested by members of the Iredell County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team.
Armando Alonso was charged with six counts of Trafficking Cocaine, two counts of Sell/Deliver Cocaine, two counts of PWISD Cocaine and received a $50,000.00 secured bond.
Juan Presa was charged with conspiracy to sell cocaine and he received a $15,000.00 secured bond.
