CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a fence and being impaled by a post Tuesday night in north Charlotte.
Police told Channel 9 that the wreck happened around 9 p.m. on Henderson Circle, off Old Statesville Road.
That driver was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.
No other cars were involved and police were still investigating what caused the crash.
