CANDLER, N.C. — A new homeowner wants justice after a car slammed into their newly purchased home, according to reports from WLOS.
The incident occurred on Aug. 3 and was captured on a neighbor’s security camera.
The video shows a car slamming into a home on Oak Hill Road, a home that was just sold the day before.
The new homeowner, Ellores Brailey, told WLOS that she is still in shock over what happened.
“I thought it was a joke, that someone ran into my living room. “I just couldn’t believe it,” Brailey said. “Right now, I’m just really nervous about other people that go really fast down that road and the possibility of this happening again.”
Neighbors said drivers routinely speed down that road.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is still searching for the driver.
