CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person died late Friday night after crashing into another car on Interstate 485 in Charlotte, troopers said.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. near Wilkinson Boulevard.

According to troopers, a truck was speeding southbound on I-485 when it rear-ended a car. The car then rolled to the side of the road, and the truck flipped several times.
Officials said the driver of the truck died at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The other driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
