KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It’s been over six years since the Carolina Panthers last made the playoffs, inspiring their recent moves to trade up and potentially find the next face of the franchise in the NFL draft.
For the past few years, the team has been working to rebuild, which included adding playmakers on defense, rebuilding the offensive line, and finding the right head coach to lead the organization. The final piece will be the most important.
With the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Panthers chose who everyone was expecting, former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.
