CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — On Wednesday morning, dozens of people lined up at libraries in Caldwell County to be some of the first to get free N95 masks.

The county’s health department said it received more than 7,000 of them from the state.

One library ran out of the masks in under 30 minutes but fortunately, they’ll be getting more.

“I have been looking at drug stores and no one has had [them],” said Marsha Pendry. “It’s just been hard to find.”

>>In the video at the top of the page, Channel 9 reporter Dave Faherty went to the library in Lenoir where people lined up an hour early.
