CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A downed power line left about 1,000 people in southwest Charlotte without electricity for hours on Sunday morning.
Duke Energy crews were working to repair the pole near the intersection of South Tryon Street and Billy Graham Parkway.
Power was shut off by crews so they could repair the line.
The entrance and exit ramps to I-77 were also blocked while the crews worked.
Electricity is back up and running in the area, according to the latest Duke Energy outage map.
Channel 9 is asking what caused the pole to fall.
