ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Officials said they've determined a husband shot his wife then himself inside a Rowan County home Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the home on Jackson Road in Salisbury around 12:12 p.m. after someone reported finding two people dead inside the locked home.

Officers said they arrived and found the bodies of a man and woman. They were later identified as Raymond "Ray" Joseph Anglin and April Parker Anglin, both 43. They were husband and wife.

Neighbors said the couple moved into the home about three years ago and that they were very quiet and kept to themselves.

"I've lived on this road for 10 years, and it's a quiet area,” neighbor William Covington said. “(There is) very, very, very little violence, and we don't have (any) problem, or anything like that."

On Friday, investigators said they determined April Anglin died from multiple gunshot wounds, and Raymond Anglin died from a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
